Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Scour, and you must sign in with a valid Apple ID. You are responsible for the content you save and any notes you write, and for keeping your device and Apple ID secure.

Scour lets you save links to videos on TikTok and Instagram. We don’t host or redistribute that video content - the videos remain on their original platforms and belong to their original creators. We cache a small thumbnail image and, where available, a short caption purely to display your saved card, under the same principle that search engines and link-preview tools use.

Restaurant details shown in Scour (name, address, hours, photos) are sourced from Google Places and are subject to Google’s own terms. We do our best to keep this information accurate and current, but we don’t guarantee it - always confirm details like opening hours directly with the restaurant before visiting.

When a video is matched to a restaurant, that match is shared across all users so the same video doesn’t need to be matched twice. You agree not to submit deliberately false or misleading matches. We may remove or correct matches at our discretion.

If you generate a share link for one of your stacks, anyone with that link can view its contents. You’re responsible for who you share that link with.

You agree not to:

• Use Scour for any unlawful purpose or to violate others’ rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Scour or its systems.
• Upload or submit content you don’t have the right to share.

Scour is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that restaurant information is complete, current, or error-free, or that a video link will remain available on its original platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scour and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on restaurant information or the availability of linked video content.

You may stop using Scour at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Scour for anyone who violates these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Scour after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
